Investing in social value is of high importance to First Ark; we understand the impact and power that collaboration between businesses across the three sectors can have. The Northern Powerhouse agenda presents a valuable opportunity for organisations to really shape the way business is done here and Northern Enterprise 2016 offers an opportunity for organisations to come together and shape this agenda.
“It’s going to be a fantastic event with some outstanding speakers and plenty of activities happening on the day.”

Following on from the conference and exhibition will be the Northern Enterprise 2016 Awards, which recognise the achievements of those individuals and businesses that are shining beacons of social value best practice.
The term social value relates to The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, whereby public organisations are required to factor how the social, economic and environmental issues of a local area are considered during procurement.
